Jane McPherson
Jane’s drive and passion to provide professional therapies within a commercial setting has given her the opportunity to run and develop some wonderful spas. Her most recent project was a pre-opening of the Five Bubble Luxury accredited Three Graces Spa at Grantley Hall, Ripon, North Yorkshire. Initially as a consultant that progressed to the appointment Spa Manager to establishing the team, procedures, guest journey and business model within the original architect design. She previously was Spa Manager at the Five Bubble accredited, Whatley Manor, where she enhanced the business model, guest journey and updated working procedures. Prior to that she has spent time at Calcot Spa as senior therapist, Bowood hotel, Golf and Spa as Spa Manager, Holbeck Ghyll, Swinton Park treatment rooms and Skibo Castle, as Spa Manager.

Jane has trained and worked with many product houses including, ila, Natura Bisse, Sundari, ESPA, Comfort Zone and Clarins. Ila being her most preferred authentic healing supplier.
Jane McPherson started Soul Soother Therapies in 2004. She is a fully qualified HND complementary therapist, including clinical reflexology, aromatherapy and advanced massage. Her studies have included attending Moray College in Elgin, Scotland full time for two years, to gain an HND in Complementary therapies.
After graduating she completed a post-graduate course in aromatic acupressure and meridian massage with The Institute of Traditional Herbal Medicine and Aromatherapy.
She is a Full Member of the Federation of Holistic Therapists, ACHO for crystal healing and the Spiritual adventures. Jane has a passion for learning new therapies so developed her knowledge to include, Baby massage instruction, Indian head & chakra balancing, Reiki to master and teacher level, which she uses daily in her everyday life.
In 2005 Jane decided to combine her energy and massage skills by studying the original hot and cold stone massage, La Stone therapy. She has since become a master LaStone worker by studying in 2007 Deep Stone, which concentrates on more sports style injury or very congested muscles. Later that year she studied Crystal Light healing with, LaStone, USA, which opened Jane up to the healing potential of crystals. Jane hence furthered her studies to a more comprehensive level of an ACHO Crystal certificate.
To support her teaching she has completed the City and Guilds 7407 qualification for adult education, accredited by the University of Hull in 2009.
In January 2010 she completed her training to become a speciality LaStone instructor. She was then commissioned to create the LaStone Crystal Energy Course, which she has taught on a freelance basis.
In 2015 Jane developed an interest in understanding how complementary therapies can reduce the symptoms of some cancers. She organised CPD course, located at Holbeck Ghyll for all local therapist to attend run by Dr. Peter Meredith, who set up the complementary therapies support centre at Christies, Manchester.
On returning to Masham in December 2017, after several years in the Cotswolds establishing her aptitude for running Five Star spas, Jane has since updated her knowledge in therapies and the Cancer journey with two CPD courses. This was at the new Natural Health School, affiliated for the Harrogate NHS Trust. She gained an award in Cancer and Palliative care and has also gained the NHS Certificate in Complementary therapies in a Clinical setting, where her chosen therapy was reflexology. She gained 100 hours plus of practical experience in the Sir Robert Ogden Macmillan Cancer Day Centre, Harrogate and completed her own clinical case studies, course work book and reflective essays.
